Rooms

Here is how the rooms are shaping up!

Noni's room:

I need to paint this room. What color would you do the walls?

Goober's room:

Painted this one a very light mint green. The pine bed needs color though. Red, maybe?

Finally the master bedroom:

The hideous burgundy needs to go! I'm thinking a very very light marigold, but I am dreading that paint job. It'll need ten million coats.

Waiting for Spring

One of the first things we did when the days began to get warmer was put up a rainbow hammock that traveled with Mom from Puerto Rico in a golf club bag.

The kids love it!

There is a gorgeous view from it, which will be wonderful to see change as the seasons progress.

It adds so much color to the backyard! This picture was NOT photoshopped:

Kitchen Sink Backsplash

Behold what used to be the disgusting area behind the kitchen sink:

I ripped out the laminate/silicone hideousness and the wall went through some tiling magic by my awesome, super handy Mom:

We picked glass mosaic tile and a marble border for the backsplash, a new faucet was installed and voilá!


Not gross anymore!

The Front Door
